THE MPUMALANGA TOURISM AND PARKS AGENCY (MTPA) WILL RESTRICT ACCESS TO THE SWADINI PAYPOINT GATE OF BLYDE RIVER CANYON nature reserve due to filming that will be taking place.
ACCESS TO THE WATERFALL AND THE PATH LEADING TO THE WATERFALL WILL BE RESTRICTED DURING THE FOLLOWING DATES:
29 October 2018 – 3 January 2019
19 February 2019 – 28 February 2019
the gates will be closed WITH NO ACCESS TO SWADINI PAYPOINT GATE OF BLYDE RIVER CANYON nature reserve BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING DATES:
4 January 2019 – 18 February 2019
Please note that access to Swadini A Forever Resorts will still be accessible to visitors. This part will not be affected by the filming process.
All attractions at Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve will still be accessible i.e Pinnacle, God’s Window, Three Rondawels and Bourkes Luck Potholes.
There will be no access to the Visitor Centre during the closure period.

as per arrangements with Blyde Adventure Centre on
