The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) is ready to welcome sports tourists in the place of the
rising sun who will be attending the Nedbank Cup Final on Saturday the 01st June 2024. The Premier
Soccer League (PSL) and its sponsor Nedbank announced that the Nedbank Cup Final will be played at
Mbombela stadium, Mpumalanga Province. More than 45 000 sports tourists are expected to fill up
Mbombela stadium to its full capacity to watch Mamelodi Sundowns playing against Orlando Pirates as the
kick-off starts at 15:00.
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency appeals to the sports tourists to visit the scenic beauty at Panorama Route, the wildlife at Kruger National Park, the oldest rock formation in Barberton Makhonjwa Mountain World Heritage Site, the natural caves at Sudwala Caves and the ancient calendar at Inzalo Yelanga in Kaapsehoop.
Our tourism currency are the welcoming and good people of Mpumalanga. We encourage tourists to visit our townships for cultural experience, good African cuisines, Shisanyama and night life.

We are working with PSL, Nedbank, SAPS, Ehlanzeni and Mbombela Municipality as well as tourism business formations to ensure safety of our tourists. We encourage tourists to come for the weekend and spend their money in the province to boost township and local economy” appeals the MTPA CEO Mr. Mduduzi Vilakazi
