Mpumalanga Tourism & Parks Agency has thrown its full support behind the national soccer squad, Bafana Bafana, on the eve of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
'Our national team has made phenomenal progress under Coach Parreira. We are on track and the team is in shape. The team's overall performance has improved and this was evident when they played Thailand and showed their readiness,' said MTPA chief executive Charles Ndabeni.
'We would also like to express our gratitude to the tens of thousands of workers who worked in preparing SA’s roads, stadium & accommodation infrastructure for the tournament. There were many who doubted we could do it, so we should all be proud to have proven them wrong', he added.
