Hamilton Parks Country Lodge is a 14-bedroom country hotel near Hazyview in the Mpumalanga Lowveld. The Lodge is housed in indigenous bushveld on a 250 hectare estate. A mere 25 minutes from the Kruger National Park, the lodge is a good base for exploring the nearby game reserves natural attractions such as Blyde River Canyon and the Great Escarpment. The Lodge boasts excellent birdwatching and animal sightings including monkeys, bushpig, porcupine, bushbuck, grey duiker and the very rare red duiker, many of which can be seen during the bushwalk offered by the hotel. The bar is the ideal location to end an eventful day watching the sun sink below the hills.ROOMSAll 14 rooms are en-suite with bath and shower, and two rooms can accommodate a family of up to four. All rooms have ceiling fans, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, a mini-safe for valuables and a snack basket. All the rooms also have an outside veranda with table and chairs.FACILITIESThe dining room offers sweeping views of the extensive gardens with an enormous rubber tree providing adequate shade during the hot summer days. The pool and bar are situated closer to the main dining area.The main hotel also accommodates a guest lounge with communal television and a selection of books for the avid reader.
