Situated within the Bundu Rockies Wildlife Estate (which is home to a variety of animals and over 300 bird species) Bundu Lodge offers guests and visitors a taste of the Lowveld life, only a stone’s throw away from the city.
The very first steps towards the creation of Bundu Lodge took place in 1981; when the present owner; Willem Janson; came to live on the first 20ha portion of land. At that stage the property; as well as the adjacent additions (which were gradually acquired later on) consisted of only un-spoilt virgin bush with not even a foot path to be seen.
