Information

Sabie River Camp is a family resort on the banks of the Sabie River, located on the outskirts of Sabie town, close to the Sabie Falls. Sabie River Camp offers a range of pre-erected self-catering tents with some on stilts and wooden platforms, as well as spacious luxury safari tents with en-suite ablution facilities and kitchenette. The boma is available for large groups, the heated rock pool is impeccably clean as are the modern ablution facilities. There is an open-air bar, rim-flow pool and wooden deck overlooking the Sabie River. The Boma Camp sleeps up to 80 people in tents and is ideally suited to large groups. Tents and beds are supplied and guests need to bring their own linen or sleeping bags (bedding supplied only on request) and own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The boma is equipped with a communal kitchen and is screened off from the rest of the resort to ensure privacy.The safari tents are pitched on a solid foundation and boast a well equipped kitchenette, complete with fridge, two-plate stove as well as all utensils needed for self-catering. The double and single beds come with comfortable mattresses, linen and insect repelling nets. These luxurious tents sleep six people in an open-plan setup and each tent has its own en-suite bathroom and braai area. The rustic tents are pitched on a solid foundation and boast a well equipped kitchenette, complete with fridge, two-plate stove as well as all utensils needed for self-catering. The double and single beds come with comfortable mattresses, linen and insect repelling nets. The two-person dome tents, erected on stilts and wooden platform, have access to communal kitchens with electrical appliances and the impeccably clean and modern ablution facilities. All linen for the beds is supplied, but guests need to bring their own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.The well grassed and level camp and caravan sites offer electrical points and are very popular with campers and caravaners alike.Sabie River Camp is less than four hours drive from the Johannesburg International Airport, a relaxing hours drive to and from the Kruger National Park, and minutes away from a number of spectacular waterfalls, Gods Window and Blyde River Canyon.
