The 3-star Phumula Kruger Lodge offers luxury self-catering or bed & breakfast accommodation in Marloth Park, a Nature Conservation Holiday Town. The lodge shares a common border along the Crocodile River and with the Kruger National Park. It is an ideal stopover for travellers en-route to Mozambique and Swaziland. The four thatched chalets have en-suite and shared facilities, bedding, a lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is an outside patio and barbeque area. The chalets have one double bed and two beds. Some are equipped with additional bunk beds. The lodge offers its guests an a la carte menu, pub lunch, or a barbeque in the boma. Marloth enjoys an abundance of game and birds. Animals roam freely and a variety of game species can be viewed from the patio. Kudu, Impala, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe and Warthog wander through the establishment’s grounds. The more dangerous species are fenced in at the separate nature reserve, Lionspruit. The spacious onsite restaurant is air-conditioned and boasts a varied menu. The conference venue is able to cater for 30 delegates. Refreshments are served at the thatched lapa, next to the swimming pool.Activities include bird watching, walking, golf, game drives, elephant back safaris, micro light flights, fishing, quad biking, white water tubing, bridge swinging and abseiling. Guided tours of the Kruger Park can be arranged. Nearby attractions include the Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window, Chimpanzee Eden, Moholoholo, and the Kapama Cheetah Project.
