Nkambeni Tented Lodge is located inside the Kruger National Park with the entrance to the lodge close to the Kruger National Parks Numbi Gate, close to White River and Hazyview. Nkambeni Tented Lodge is committed to the preservation of pristine wilderness areas and the suites are designed and constructed to guarantee minimum impact on the natural habitat. For that reason the suites have been built on wooden stilts. The accommodation at Nkambeni Tented Lodge consists of 150 beautifully appointed luxury timber and canvas tented suites which offer two extra length beds, two fold out bunk beds for the kids and a bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. The permanent luxury tents offer air-conditioning and a private deck. The restaurant offers true South African hospitality and local food. Guests are welcome to observe or participate with the full- time Marimba band which offers guests Gumboot and traditional Shangaan dancing and drum beat evenings on Fridays and Saturdays which can also be booked on request at an additional charge.Nkambeni Tented Lodge offers offers half and full day safaris in the Kruger National Park in vehicles which are designed to allow guests close interaction with the animals encountered. Guests can also request a picnic lunch from the restaurant and enjoy this when your guide stop at one of the picnic sites in the Kruger.Guests are welcome to join the training team for a short lecture on tracks and signs of the wild. The experienced trainers will teach you the skills needed to track and indentify spoor which can be used when on safari in the Kruger.Nkambeni Tented Lodge is within easy driving distance of well known tourist sights and other attractions including the panorama route including God’s Window and Pilgrim’s Rest, Chimp Eden, several major golf courses, white water rafting, horse riding and a pub crawl tour. The reception will facilitate guests visits to any of the available activities.
