A Brief Overview

The town of Graskop sits quietly on the edge of the Lowveld Escarpment and is the last formal establishment at the beginning of the Blyde River Plateau. It is accessible from Nelspruit by taking the R37 to Sabie and then the R532 to Graskop. If you are exploring the Panorama Route after a trip to the Kruger National Park then you will be able to reach Graskop from Hazyview by driving along the R535 which ends in the spectacular Kowyn's Pass. A mere 16km from Graskop lies the historic mining town of Pilgrim's Rest, declared a National Monument, Provincial Heritage Site and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage tentative list in 2004.
