Proudly Female Owned Travel in Mpumalanga

What would life be without some travel! Following a month focused on women empowerment and women in business, we’re proud to say that in Mpumalanga, we have many woman-backed businesses that are growing rapidly.

Exploring the beautiful South African countryside and city landscapes, is one of the joys we get to look forward to on an annual basis.

In this article we’ll be highlighting two tour companies that are proudly female run and owned and based in Mpumalanga.

CTS Travel & Tours

Based in Hazyview, CTS Travel & Tours is a great option if you are looking for travel experiences that are unique and exciting. They offer half & full day tours of Blyde River Canyon, Panorama Route, Kruger National Park + more. On top of this, if you’re looking for something more bespoke, the team will tailor make a trip for you, based on where you want to visit and what you want to see, as well as your budget.

A little more info on Hazyview:

Hazyview can be found situated on the slopes of the Drakensberg Mountain Range. Founded predominantly on the gold history in the area, Hazyview offers visitors rich history and much to do.

The name itself aptly describes the area that can be hazy (and lazy) on hot summer days - typical of the African bush experience. Fruit orchards surround the region and the area itself is very close to the Kruger National Park - perfect for day trips to the bush, or stop overs before you get there.

Charimo Travel Solutions

If you’re looking to travel a bit further abroad for business, Charimo Travel Solutions is the place to go.

Based in Mpumalanga, the business is proudly South African and black female owned. They provide high quality travel solutions specifically for the corporate sector.
